• Golf Data — Handicap index, round scores, course information, player groups, club bag details, and tee time schedules you enter into the app.
• NZ Golf Integration — If you link your NZ Golf account, we access your member number, handicap index, and home course from DotGolf on your behalf.
• Usage Data — Pages visited, features used, device type, and browser information collected via Google Analytics.
• Chat & AI Interactions — Messages you send to the AI caddie to provide personalised advice. These are processed in real-time and not stored beyond the active session unless you save a round.
• Language Preferences — Your chosen interface language and caddie accent settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the CaddieChat service, including AI caddie advice, scorekeeping, and performance analytics.
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• To personalise your experience (language, caddie personality, club recommendations).
• To display relevant advertisements to free-tier users via Google AdSense.
• To communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support requests.
• To analyse usage patterns and improve app performance.

4. Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements to users on our free tier. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Premium and Basic subscribers do not see advertisements.

5. Cookies & Tracking

CaddieChat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
